It's an irony how having kids changed my whole entire life.
I remember warning the then boyfriend that I'll make a lousy wife,
I told him that I could neither do the cooking nor the household chores.
But, true love prevails
or perhaps,
all who are in love are indeed BLIND.....
He did decides to marry me afterall!
2 good years went by.....
And finally,
the long awaited kids came along....
We made the most logical decision
of me staying at home full time to look after the kids,
while Kitson brings home the bacon.....
In the beginning,
things were looking bad...
To illustrate how bad it was:
Some days when I look into the rice cooker
I couldn't decide if I cooked porridge or rice...
*smile*
But thank God for internet!
I googled & learned.
The kitchen has now became the most therapeutic corner of the house.
And I believe,
there is nothing you can't learn when you put your heart to it....
I am embarking on this little project
to teach tiny hand the marvel of baking and cooking.
In hopes that in the future, they will be more competent than I am.
And not use the same excuse I used
to scare off potential husband or wife to be.
*smile*
My little Gems;
Sophia & Hiroshi
